Tommy Fleetwood


Tommy Fleetwood born on 19 January 1991 in Southport, Merseyside.

Fleetwood is a professional English golfer who plays in the European Tour. He had a brilliant career with victories included in the 2009 Scottish Championship Stroke Play and in 2010 English Amateur,and finalists in the Amateur Championship 2008, in 2010 New South Wales Amateur and in 2010 Spanish Amateur and in the Amateur European 2010.

 He represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Walker Cup in 2009. He also reached number 3 in the R & A World Amateur Golf standings, and the number 1 in the Scratch Players World Amateur ranking.

In July 2010, Fleetwood finished as a finalist for Daniel Gaunt in the English challenge in the second-level Challenge Tour in Europe.

He won the English Amateur at the beginning of August and became a professional shortly after, debuting at the Czech Open on the European Tour,

 Where he made the cut and finished the draw for 67th place. his first victory in the Challenge Tour at the Kazakhstan Open, which secured his place in the 2012 European Tour.


2017 was the most successful year of Fleetwood to date. In January he won his second European Tour event, the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, a shot on Dustin Johnson and Pablo Larrazabal after a final round of 67.

 In March, Fleetwood finished second in the WGC Championship-Mexico, a blow behind Dustin Johnson, while in April he lost in a sudden playoff of his death in Shenzhen International against Bernd Wiesberger, at the first extra hole. Fleetwood came in from eight punches on the last day with an impressive lap of 63 points to establish the advantage of the clubhouse. In the postseason, Fleetwood found the green in two, but Wiesberger had problems at five feet and bored the birdie putt for victory.

 In June, Fleetwood finished fourth at the US Open, while in July he won the Open de France, defeating Peter Uihlein in one fell swoop, after a free final round of boge 66. He moved from 99th place in the world rankings at the beginning of the year in the world of the best 20.
