Katherine Schwarzenegger was born on 13 December, 1989 in Los Angeles, USA. Katherine's mother (Maria Shriver) is an author and journalist, and her father Arnold Schwarzenegger is an actor. Katherine has two younger siblings, Patrick and Christopher, plus a younger sister, Christina. He also has a half-brother, Joseph Baena, from his father's previous report.

Katherine Schwarzenegger is nephew's nephew of the 35th president of EE. UU., John F. Kennedy. He attended the School of Communication and Journalism at the USC in Annenberg and graduated from there.
